Who are we…

LRSD Corporation 501(c)3 owns and operates a mountain bike club that secures headline supporters. The club race team supports a limited number of athletes each season, organizes both free and subsidized community events, and provides educational programs throughout the year. We are here to GROW the SoCal MTB community!

Core Values

Community: we will prioritize the interests of our community as a whole as to ensure sustainability when making decisions.

Safety: mountain biking is an inherently dangerous activity where people can and do get injured. however, we will never knowingly jeopardize the safety and well-being of our community.

Respect: we will use respectful language in all communication and appropriate behavior at all events, understanding that we serve a community of all backgrounds, beliefs, and ages.

Integrity: we will lead by example and represent our community as well as the mountain bike community with honor, responsibility, and accountability, always giving each other the benefit of the doubt.

Sportsmanship: we will always demonstrate ethical, fair, and respectful behavior among all of our fellow riders, racers, and officials, and remain gracious and humble in both victory and defeat.

  • Ian Kelly

    PRESIDENT | FOUNDER

    As a San Diego native I spent many years racing BMX and riding dirt bikes throughout the region before moving to Flagstaff, AZ to attend Northern Arizona University to study computer engineering. This is where I discovered the world of mountain bikes. Nothing was ever the same!

    Fast forward 25 years... I have been working as an IT Program Manager for 20+years in San Diego. I am a devoted father, and enjoy adventures with my girls!

    In 2023 I recognized the need for a professionally structured program that will provide younger mountain bike athletes with a path to reach their MTB career goals. LRSD Corp was born...

  • Josiah Stringer

    VICE PRESIDENT | FOUNDING MEMBER

    Josiah serves as one of the founding members of Loose Riders San Diego and plays an integral role in the dynamic San Diego mountain bike community.

    He leverages his professional expertise in the bike industry, contributing valuable insights into its prevailing trends, requirements, and trajectory.

    In addition to his role as a cycling industry service professional, Josiah assumes the responsibility of overseeing the social media team for Loose Riders San Diego. In this capacity, he guides the creative direction of content production, develops strategies for account expansion, and actively pursues enhanced user engagement.

  • Paul Reichert

    SECRETARY

    Paul has over 25 years of experience in commercial real estate management, development and syndication, largely in the manufactured housing and outdoor hospitality industries. As General Partner of his company based in San Diego, he leads a team of property managers and supporting staff throughout Southern California and Texas.

    Alongside his career, Paul has maintained a passion for athletic pursuits that stem from years of competing in water polo, Ironman triathlons and many other types of endurance events. He enjoys mountain biking, running, skiing, hiking and climbing. He’s happily married to his wife Dawn, and has two children, Zach and Devyn.

    A mountain bike rider enjoying adventures to ocean and mountain views in beautiful San Diego, California.

    He pursues the various flavors of bermy jumping rocky fun, when not distracted by scientific research and family life. Committed to the future of mountain biking and harnessing the tremendous knowledge and power of the mtb community.

  • Scott Isgitt

    BUSINESS ADVISOR

    Scott, brings over 25 years of expertise in sales, branding, and partnership development across industries such as Action Sports, Fitness, Technology, Distilled Spirits, and Insurance.

    Scott serves as a Board Member for Sprockids, a non-profit offering lessons, clinics, and camps for young riders entering the world of mountain biking.

    His experience includes 20+ years of rock climbing globally, both as a sponsored climber and a business owner in the climbing industry, operating indoor rock climbing gyms, guiding excursions, testing products, and coaching participants for national and international competitions.
